Lafourche Commission on Women

Donnell is a native of New Orleans and now resides in Mathews with her husband, Dr. Curtis Zeringue. She is a dedicated volunteer activist who is involved in the Bayou Region and New Orleans. She is the Executive Director for Bayou Dental Care and a retired realtor.

She has been a member of the Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business since 1998 and has worked with Louisiana Girls Leadership Academy for the past 10 years.

Zeringue is a charter member of the Lafourche Commission on Women and is presently servicing as Vice President. She is a board member for the Lafourche Education Foundation, and a member of the Lafourche Republican Women’s Club.

Her community Service has included past president of the Alliance to the Louisiana Society, Bayou Junior Woman’s Club and has served the Lafourche Chamber of Commerce as secretary and a past board member.

She is a lifetime member of New Orleans Cancer Crusaders, having service the organization as a board member and past president. She is currently a member of BRAVO, NOMA Volunteer Committee and past board member of Southeast Louisiana American Red Cross.

She has been inducted into the Louisiana Center for Women in Government and Business’ Hall of Fame, New Orleans Ballet Association as a Woman of Fashion, Outstanding Chamber Ambassador and a graduate of Leadership Lafourche.
